How to Update ScriptMint's Standalone Version

You can update your existing ScriptMint Standalone version incrementally. For example, if you have version 4.0.0 installed and the latest version is 4.2.0, you must first update to 4.1.0 before updating to 4.2.0.

Follow these steps to successfully update your ScriptMint Standalone version:

Step-by-Step Update Process

Request the Update File

Contact ScriptMint to request the necessary update file for your version increment.

Download and Upload the Update File

After receiving the update file, download it and upload the file to the same directory where your current ScriptMint Standalone version is installed. Important: Do not rename the update file.

Initiate the Update

Open your web browser and navigate to /app/product. You will see an "Update" button at the top of the page. Click on it to begin the update process.

Wait for the Update to Complete

The update may take 2-3 minutes. During this time, do not refresh or close the browser window. Verify the Update

Once the update is finished, navigate back to /app/product to verify that the latest version information is displayed.
